Retained her maiden name after marriage to John Le Botiller, who changed his name to de Verdun. Founded the abbey of Grace Dieu, for Cistertian monks at Beldon, Leicestershire.
Held the manor of Clunmore, in Ireland.

Sheriff of Leicestershire during the reign of King Henry II. He attended Richard I to the Holy Land, where he was at the Seige of Acon. He founded the abbey of Croxden in 1176 and was its principal benefactor.
